About Us & Our Family

THE BIRTH OF CAFE EATALIANO

I was looking to open a new family friendly restaurant in 2010. In 2011, the old closed down Chambers Bar came on the market and seemed to be the perfect site for my new venture.

As soon as planning permission was granted, my team and I got to work restoring and extending the restaurant.  The inspiration for the interior decoration was from my family vineyard in Montalcino, Italy. Our pizza oven and Coffee machine, was also shipped all the way from Italy.  The wine bottles on the wall are from our family vineyard, and the wallart is actually one of the Cellars at our home in Italy. Eataliano was then born.

We opened the Restaurant on the 14th January 2013 and have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from our customers.

In the last year, my Manager, Head Chef and I have been working very hard to create a restaurant with a varied menu to suit all our customers.  We have facilities to accommodate business lunches, families, groups of friends, students, special needs and parties for all occassions.  It was very important to us to produce a varied and healthy childrens menu, which has proved to be a big hit with the kids.  We have a great team of staff onboard who not only work for us but have become our friends.

Manio Loia

THE FAMILY ESTATE

In an enchanting corner in the Montalcino region of Tuscany lies the Palazzo estate owned by the Loia family. Bought as a farm in 1983 they planted their first vines and pursuing their dreams in 1995 they celebrated their first vintage Brunello and today they produce the finest wines. One of their sons Manio moved to Scotland and opened Eataliano’s which serves all the wines from the family estate. Here you have a very authentic Italian dining experience!
